PAYMENT METHODS

At AURUM TREAD, we offer several secure payment solutions to make your purchases on www.aurumtread.com.

The payment methods actually available are displayed when you confirm your order. Some options may depend on your device, country, order amount or the payment provider’s own conditions.

1. Payment by bank card

Card payments made on www.aurumtread.com are processed securely by our payment provider Stripe.

Depending on the card used, your country and the services available at the time of ordering, AURUM TREAD may accept the following networks in particular:

  • Visa

  • Mastercard

  • American Express

  • Cartes Bancaires (CB)

  • Visa Electron

  • Maestro

  • Discover

  • Diners Club

  • JCB

  • UnionPay

Actual availability of a card network may depend on the Customer’s country, currency, bank and the conditions applied by Stripe at the time of payment.

The payment methods actually available are displayed when the order is confirmed.

Bank card data is processed directly by Stripe using secure solutions. AURUM TREAD does not store your full bank card number or security code.

2. PayPal

You can also pay for your order with PayPal.

When you select PayPal, you will be asked to log in to your PayPal account or use the options offered directly by PayPal to authorize payment.

The transaction is then processed by PayPal in accordance with its own terms of use and security policies.

3. Pay in 4 with PayPal

Where this option is offered by PayPal, certain Customers may be eligible to pay in 4 installments with PayPal.

Availability of Pay in 4 depends in particular on:

  • the Customer’s eligibility;

  • the order amount;

  • the country concerned;

  • the criteria set by PayPal.

Approval or refusal of a Pay in 4 payment is entirely determined by PayPal.

AURUM TREAD does not take part in PayPal’s eligibility decision.

Where this solution is available, its terms, payment schedule and any restrictions are presented by PayPal before payment is confirmed.

4. Apple Pay

AURUM TREAD also accepts Apple Pay where this payment method is available to the Customer.

Apple Pay allows an order to be paid for using compatible payment methods stored in the Customer’s Apple digital wallet.

Availability of Apple Pay depends in particular on:

  • the device used;

  • the browser;

  • the country;

  • and the configuration of the Customer’s Apple account.

Apple Pay payments offered on the website are processed securely by the associated payment provider.

5. Google Pay

Where this feature is available, you can also use Google Pay to pay for your order.

Google Pay lets the Customer use compatible payment methods stored in their Google digital wallet.

Availability of this option may depend on the device, browser, country and configuration of the Google account used.

6. Payment security

Payments made on www.aurumtread.com are processed by specialist providers using systems designed to secure transactions.

Depending on the payment method selected, an additional authentication step may be requested by your bank or payment provider.

This authentication may take the form of:

  • approval in your banking app;

  • a security code;

  • biometric authentication;

  • or any other verification method offered by your bank.

AURUM TREAD will never ask you to send your bank card PIN by email or message.

7. Payment confirmation

The order is recorded after payment is confirmed by the relevant provider.

In the event of:

  • a declined payment;

  • failed authentication;

  • incorrect banking information;

  • transaction cancellation;

  • or refusal by the payment provider,

the order may not be confirmed.

Where possible, you will be able to select another available payment method.

8. Order charge

For orders paid in a single payment, payment is processed in accordance with the terms of the selected payment method.

For pre-orders, the amount may be charged as soon as the order is confirmed, even if the product is not yet available for immediate dispatch.

Where a product is offered on pre-order, this information and the estimated delivery timeframe or period are shown before the order is confirmed.

9. Installment payments

AURUM TREAD currently offers installment payments through PayPal Pay in 4 where this solution is offered and approved by PayPal.

AURUM TREAD does not directly offer credit or financing.

Installments are managed directly between the Customer and PayPal in accordance with the terms of the PayPal Pay in 4 service.

An order paid in installments remains subject to the same delivery, withdrawal, return and warranty rules as an order paid in a single payment.

10. Gift cards and promotional benefits

Where AURUM TREAD gift cards are available, they may be used in accordance with the terms stated at the time of purchase.

Promo codes, loyalty benefits and referral benefits must be applied before final confirmation of the order.

Where a discount is applied, the Customer pays only the remaining amount due.

Any restrictions specific to an offer are stated in its terms.

11. Currency

Prices shown on the AURUM TREAD website are stated in euros (€), unless otherwise indicated.

If the Customer’s account or payment method uses another currency, their bank or payment provider may perform a currency conversion.

Conversion fees or exchange rates may then be applied directly by the Customer’s bank or payment provider.

Any such fees are not charged by AURUM TREAD.

12. Invoicing

An invoice may be issued for each order placed on the website.

It may be sent electronically or made available to the Customer depending on the features available on the website.

and include your order number.

13. Refunds

Where a refund is due, it is generally issued to the payment method used for the original transaction, unless an agreement or specific situation legally allows another refund method.

After AURUM TREAD issues the refund, the time required for the amount to actually appear in the Customer’s account depends in particular on:

  • the payment provider;

  • the bank;

  • the payment method used.

For a payment made via PayPal, the refund is processed through PayPal.

For an order paid using PayPal Pay in 4, the effect of the refund on the installment schedule is managed by PayPal in accordance with the terms applicable to its service.

The rules governing refunds following a withdrawal or return are set out in the Returns & Exchanges sections and in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

14. Payment data protection

Personal data required to process a payment may be shared with the relevant providers, including Stripe and PayPal, in order to carry out and secure the transaction.

AURUM TREAD does not intend to directly retain the full banking details used to make payment.

Information about the processing of personal data is available in our Privacy Policy.

15. Payment issue

If your payment fails, we recommend checking:

  • the information entered;

  • your card’s expiry date;

  • your payment limit;

  • the available balance;

  • completion of any authentication requested by your bank.

If your bank or the provider declines the transaction, AURUM TREAD may not have access to the information explaining the reason.

You can then contact your bank or choose another available payment method.
